About me

For about 3 years I am a translator in economics, marketing, technology (metalwork processes, mechanics, automotive, IT), commercial (especially contracts), marketing (retail, mkt plans, literature, advertising) and administration documents. For the last 8 years I have been working as marketing director of a software developing house. Since 1991 I teach french-for-business at the French Cultural Center of the city of Iasi. I also worked for more than 13 years as mechanical engineer (in design and testing jobs).

As a translator I usually work on:
- commercial contracts
- technological documents
- marketing texts (including advertising localisation)
- economic literature
- automotive texts
- administrative documents

As marketing manager, my jobs are to:
1. decide upon the marketing policies of the company
2. develop and mantain the distributors network
3. supervise all promoting and marketing activities
4. manage relationships with main partners (like Oracle Romania, for instance)
5. design and supervise the use of all commercial contracting and marketing documents
6. represent the company in all major promoting events and in all commercial situations

As a french-for-business teacher, I:
1. design, describe and implement the course plans
2. sustain the courses
3. maintain a connection with the Commerce and Industry Chamber of Paris for the validation of my students' exams

As a mechanical engineer I was:
1. supervising a automotive clutch production workshop
2. designing clutch testing methods
3. maintaining close relationships with main testing laboratories
4. producing technical documentation for clutches

Ex-basketball player (9 years in the first Romanian League).
